ROTARIANS, LINCOLN COMMUNITY CENTER TO HOST BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
November 27, 2017
Thanksgiving is over and it’s time to make plans for the Jolly Old Elf to arrive in Troy. This year, Troy Rotarians and the team at Lincoln Community Center, 110 Ash Street, will host the 7th annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 2nd at the center. No reservations are required, and the breakfast is free to area families. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, milk, juice, and coffee. Doors open at 8:30 AM and will close at 11 AM.
This is the second year the event has been held at Lincoln Community Center, and the team is excited to welcome everyone to the breakfast. Mark your calendars now to join in on the fun. Be sure to come hungry. All the kids will have a chance to visit with Santa and get a framed 4x6” picture with him as a memento.
Troy Rotarians and the Troy Rotary Foundation support several community projects annually. During the 2016-17 Rotary year, over $16,000 in scholarships and community aid was distributed from the fund, including support for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program, Rotary's annual Shoe Projects, academic and community service scholarships, and sponsorships to summer camps at Brukner Nature Center and WACO Air Museum. In addition to the financial support, Rotarians volunteered nearly 400 hours to several service projects. The Troy Rotary Club is a member-involved, goal-oriented service club focused on socio/economic issues that have an impact both locally and internationally.
