HOPPING DOWN THE BUNNY TRAIL AT LINCOLN COMMUNITY CENTER
March 13, 2015
The snow is gone and Daylight Savings Time has begun. That means the Easter Bunny is about to arrive in town to fill baskets with candy and treats. The staff at Lincoln Community Center and Troy Rotary volunteers are ready to host the annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2-12 on Saturday, April 4, 2015 rain or shine. The fun begins at 12 noon for the younger hunters, ages 2-7. At 12:30 PM, 8-12 year olds get to look for the hidden eggs scattered throughout the property. Each child will be allowed to gather up to 10 eggs in a basket or bag they bring to the event. Grand prizes will be given out to the top two hunters in each age group.
The event is open to area families and is free-of-charge. Please make sure to be at Lincoln Community Center, 110 Ash Street in Troy, by 11:45 AM to get in on the fun. If the weather is inclement, the hunt will be moved indoors at the center. Rumor has it that the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance and the kids can have their picture taken with him. If you need more information on the event, contact the Lincoln Community Center on (937) 335-2715 or visit their Web site at www.lcctroy.com.
